An ode to Harry the beloved bear!

Hi folks,

Doing well this week- 2 posts! Here is my other latest layout that i completed on Friday night. This one features the beloved Harry - Ella's teddy - she absolutely adores this teddy and takes him everywhere- we have to have a birthday party for him every year as well on his birthday - July 6th!! Have attached some photos after the layout to show you how he gets around!

On this day - back in April - Simon took us all out for dinner- a rare treat for the girls- they enjoyed getting all dressed up and of course Harry had to come too. He didn't look too smart at the restaurant so clever dad made him a bowtie out of a black straw and a napkin!! Ella was stoked! The photos were taken on Simon's mobile so aren;t the best quality but this story needed recording!

Here is my layout featuring some older but still lovely Kaisercraft papers and using some inspiration from Rachel Funnel...

And some closeups...

And here are some more snaps of Harry -

this July party
will try to find the one at the Crusaders game- can't track it at the mo!!

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your lovely comments that show me you have visited!

Lovely story and lucky Harry LOL. With Bec going through all her stuff at home ready to move into her new house she has gone through her soft toys. Lots of stories being told there too. LOL

Very cute. You certainly enhanced the photo with your gorgeous papers and embellishing. Great story.

simon sounds like a true crafter in the making ;) It will be nice when Ella looks back on this layout and reads about the adventures of Harry, bring back warm fuzzy memories :)

such lovely memories for her. This passed week littlest granddaughter got off with her Mother's favourite stuffed toy, Lucy Lion. It was a gift when her tonsils came out many years ago. Lucy has gone travelling to Punakaiki today, wonder what adventures they will have!!
