Sew - 2 layouts for a friend

Hi Folks,

Long time between posts i know but life has been busy with school holidays and a redundant husband mooching around- he has a few interviews coming up soon so fingers crossed!

Anyhoo - just wanted to share a couple of layouts that i did for one of my best friends. Recently she had her mum come and visit and snapped these awesome photos of her mum and Callum at the sewing machine. Her mum is truly wonderful and at 79 looks and acts like a woman much much younger- she sews most of Callums clothes for him and when i saw these photos i thought instantly that i would like to scrap those! Jo asked if i could do a layout for her mum for mothers day so i decided to do one for Grandma and one for Jo to keep for herself for mothers day!

Here is the one for Grandma - using some of the recent Kaisercraft release - Needle and Thread.. bought from Scrap it Simple...

and a close up...

And this is the one that i did for Jo to keep-  using some of the new Prima Lifetime range and some more of the Kaisercraft Needle and Thread collection. I even sewed on this one!

I was also lucky enough to meet the lovely Amy Tan at a special make and take at Spotlight in Christchurch on Saturday. She was truly lovely and it was a real treat to meet her in person - we made a lovely card and 2 tags and i of course just had to purchase a few of her papers - nice and bright!

Anyhoo - back later to share some of our school holiday activities for family that are interested - i did manage to get some great photos of the girls the other day so will share those soon!

Have a good one

Absolutely stunning layouts. I love that collection and the way you have put it all together. Grandma and Jo will love them.
