And so we reach the final birthday- its been a long expensive season and i am sure that you can hear both Simon and I breathe a sigh of relief and the bank account!
Poor old Lucy has to watch 4 other people all have their special days ahead of her- the parties and cakes and presents and does very well to wait so patiently for her turn to Finally come! So Sunday was the big day!
She had an early birthday present this year - a room of her own! Simon and I finished painting and decorating my old scraproom so that Lucy could have her own room. I painted it the same colour as my new scraproom a very soft blue. Some new bright curtains and some nice bedding -and matching furniture means that she has her own space - which is really a necessity with 3 noisy sisters. She is loving her own space and being able to say at the top of her voice "GET out of MY room!!!" Its just small but she loves it!

She loved her birthday presents - especially her Strawberry Shortcake Cafe and her kids cookbook so she "can learn to be a Masterchef!". She loves Masterchef and never misses an episode! One night she critiqued dinner! Luckily i didn't get sent off!
She invited some friends over for party food and cake before we headed off to Chipmunks for them to have a run around! It was a great day! Here are some photos of the day... also an off the page project that i made for her for the big birthday! Please to say that she absolutely LOVED it!
