C'est Magnifique Sketch challenge

Hi ,

Just a quick post to share another challenge layout for this month. This one is for the C'est Magnifique January challenge. These seem to be the only layouts that i seem to have time  to make these days with school holidays still in full swing and not much chance to scrap. Its left to Friday nights only for scrappy time at the moment!

Anyways - this layout uses some of the gorgeous Picked Pear collection from Kaisercraft that i managed to finally purchase last week from the lovely Hilary at Scrap it Simple. I love this range - green is my favourite colour and black always seems to find its way onto my layouts these days in some form or another- so a perfect fit for me!

This is Lucy - looking very grown up - now that Christmas is over we are almost into birthday season - i have all 5 of them in about 7 weeks!! So all the talk is now about birthdays and what they would like to do for their respective parties- i can't believe that Lucy will be 6- she will really be a little girl then! I remember when Zoe was 6!! She will be 10 in February- Ella 8  a week later and little Hollie will be 4 and in her last year of being at home with mama! Sad  times ahead for mama!

Anyhoo - here is Lucy based on the sketch...

There is quite alot layered on here - from stamping in the background to chipboard, transparencies, ribbon, diecuts, flowers, stickers, resin, doilies and a fair bit of fussy cutting. I hadn't used a circular diecut as my base for ages so figured that it was time- Kaisercraft have had some beautiful ones released lately with their ranges especially the January releases- Secret Admirer and Botanical Odyssey so expect to see a few more coming up! Here is a close up...

Here is the beautiful sketch

Off to a friends house tonight to do some scrapping- i am hoping to get up to date with Project life - i have done week 1 so 2 weeks to catch up- and to get my December daily album  completed now that i have all the photos done!

Would love to hear your comments...

Francine

Now that is just magical! I don't normally like the diecut shaped papers but you've worked this one perfectly!
