Rugby World Cup Fever

HI again,

Just popping in to share another layout for my Dimensional Details class with Nic Howard. This one features DH who was beyond excited to be going to both semi finals in Auckland for the rugby world cup in October last year. He still says that it was one of the best things that he has ever done!! This layout was based on my week one assignment- i did a girly one and liked the layout so much that i did this one of Simon as well!

It was quite nice to do a more masculine layout for a change! Ella went with Simon to the rugby on Saturday night at the new stadium. She really loved it- the whole dressing up - (dad had a silly hat on ) and the horses and music and atmosphere- as well as seeing the game in real life!! The take a kid to footy idea is a great one- tickets are really reasonable and they even get a special footy pack with photos - a sotry about the Crusaders and food and drink! Ella loved having special time with dad too.

We have had a busy night as today was Nana's 75th birthday so we all went out for tea which was a real treat for the girls. We have never taken them out at night for a meal before and they were very well behaved especially when it started to get late. We had to leave at 8pm though as Hollie was starting to get into hyperdrive and they needed to get to bed for school tomorrow! Simon has gone back now so that he doesn't miss out on the cake!!

I spent all today making a special mini album for Nana with photos of her with all the girls and Simon from when we all went to Victoria Park a few weeks ago. I was really pleased with how it came out as i am not usually an off the page scrapper- i used some of the lovely Little Miss line from BoBunny. I will borrow it back from Nana so that i can photograph it at some stage though! Thats 2 min albums in as many months that i have made- scary!!

Here is a photo of us with the birthday girl- Nana- 75 today!!

Happy Birthday Nana!

Hope you are having a great week

You have been busy as usual and your Simon page is great. Nic's course is a great way to keep motivated and get layouts done. Loved the one I did last year.
