Just another quick share today of a layout that i did the other night at the fortnightly Scrappin patch crop night. I mentioned awhile ago that i was slowly working through my stash of papers and that i would shortly have some more Miss Nellie (Kaisercraft ) layouts to share. I love the bright clear colours of this line- reds and greens and blues and pinks and so many options for fussy cutting with all the flowers. Anyhoo this is a layout of me and Lucy taken when we were on holiday in Queenstown last year. She is such a laugh and so much fun- i think these photos sum her up nicely!
She got her first report on Monday and i was so proud. They get a progress report after 6 weeks at school and she is doing so well! She is in the top reading group already and has learnt all the first group of emergent words and is onto the second. She finished her octopus ( sticker chart with 33 stickers for excellence and showing school values) today and was allowed to choose a prize from the treat box (more stickers!) Her report said lots of great things about reading and writing and numeracy but some of the general points that stuck out were " Lucy is a quiet in nature (what Lucy!!!!!) and displays all the school values in her actions ( respect, love of learning, initiative, excellence, )She displays a real love of learning and always completes a learning task to the best of her ability. Lucy has a real talent for art work. Lucy has had a wonderful start to her schooling! Proud Mama moment! I'm so glad that she is loving school and hope that she will do really well and enjoy her school years as much as i did!
Anyways here is the layout!
