Some BoBunny Gabrielle...

Hi Everyone,

I managed to just get this finished this morning before the cut off time for the C'est Magnifique sketch challenge for June! phew!

This picture of Zoe is one of my all time favourites - she has long hair but always wears it up because it gets really knotty and she HATES brushing her hair. Sigh... we have had many battles over that hair... anyway on this day she had her lovely hair out and i managed to get her to pose for a photo or two...

I finally delved into my stash of BoBunny - Gabrielle papers- they are just sooo pretty that i have just been admiring them on my shelf for ages and haven't wanted to touch them- silly i know- so they got pulled out and used today! I love all the greens and browns and all those butterflies -0 just heavenly!

Here is the sketch from C'est Magnifique- designed by Nadia Cannizo...

And here is my take on the sketch....

And a close up of the cluster...

I even did some stamping on this one - shocking i know. I have been loving all the paint splattering and grungy type layouts on some of my blog hops lately so am tempted to have a go this week- they are very cool!

Off to my crop night tonight which will be fun - we have to take our very first album that we did to show to some of the newbies that we all started out very simple and that your style does evolve over time! It is quite funny to look back at where you started - mine were all double matted photos and lots of cardstock and brads and stickers! Now i very rarely use any of those things!

Back soon with more to share - would love to hear your comments!

Francine

This is great Francine, I have tried the painting and splattering and I can't seem to grasp it and end up throwing the paper out. I love the stamping and the colours you've used.

Its very pretty and well done on the stamping - not something I remember to do despite all the stamps I have. LOL. We had the same hair issues with both girls at around the same age and very rarely had hair out of ponytails.

You're right those papers are lovely, great layout! What a cool idea to share your first work with the newbies, must be intimadating to see all the AMAZING work but then to see that we all started with simple layouts must be great :)

Congratulations Francine! Your layout is one of the five layouts we have featured for the June Sketch Challenge at C'est Magnifique. Thanks so much for participating.
