My Little Artist

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post to share a layout that i managed to get done at the Scrappin Patch crop day the other week. This one uses some more of the lovely My Minds Eye - Follow Your Heart collection- sometimes a company puts out a  range that i just adore and i use it all up and then buy more and then use that and again have to buy more and this is one of those ranges !! I have done  so many layouts with this range and did three on this particular day and bought more papers when i was there! Anyhoo- this was a layout showing my little artist- Lucy just loves anything that involves drawing or painting or anything at  all artistic! These photos were taken on Christmas Day and one of the things that she was most excited about was getting some drawing chalk in her Xmas stocking so the first chance that she got she was out there making pictures on the driveway! She has just started to show an interest in scrapbooking and has done a few  pages. I took her out to Scrappin Patch in the weekend and she loved looking around the shop and was allowed to choose $10 worth of stuff to make some beautiful pages ! She is really looking forward to the mother / daughter scrapbooking class that Adrienne is going to organise for sometime in August? That should be alot of fun!

I even made my first Star Album this past week with Zoe for her science  project at school as they are learning about space and the planets and stars this term. So i looked it up on Youtube and we made one together- very easy and so effective - i was quite excited about making one - then i found  out that they were old news and were all the rage years and years ago! I'm going to make another one though and give it to my mum i think!

Anyway - must get this posted - feeling a little jaded after a great night last night - i had 8 lovely ladies come round for a Stampin Up party at my place and we made a lovely vintage type card! Must take a photo and will show you! They have just gorgeous stamps but lots of other products too - lots of lovely dies and punches and even paper- lots of yummy stuff!

Anyways - here finally is my layout of Lucy - the paper was so gorgeous that i kept it pretty simple and let the photos shine on this one!

Beautiful Ella

This one of Ella was a scraplift as i thought it was so beautiful and didn't want to change it at all apart from a few minor additions!

Thanks for visiting my blog and i will be back soon with more to share
