The Joys of a Scrapping weekend!

Hi Everyone,

Well i have been lucky enough to have had a lovely scrapping weekend- i went to my usual Happy Scrappers crop night on Friday and got 2 layouts done (they need some more tweaking yet till i am happy with them !) Then on Saturday Scrappin Patch had a crop day from 9-9pm so all in all it was a fabulous chance to get lots of pages done! I managed  to get 8 layouts completed on Saturday which i was very happy with! It was nice to catch up with some friends and to meet a couple of new ladies that came along too. Adrienne even cropped with us for the afternoon and evening so it was lovely to see her scrapping as usually she is just so busy in the shop!

I have managed to stumble across a new blog by Mistra- who designs for Dusty Attic amongst others and she also has a sketch blog so i hae dutifully downloaded a number of her l,ovely sketches and used a few on Saturday. This one of Hollie was loosely based on one of her sketches as i was attracted to the oval shape in the centre of the layout- the i went a little crazy with all the flowers! I used some of the beautiful and bright Miss Nelly papers from Kaisercraft - i still have oodles of this range left so expect to see some more of these papers coming up!

As i said this layout features Miss Hollie who at 3 is full of life and spirit and mischief- she really does colour my world!

such a cheeky imp!

Here are some photos of my week- Hollie up her usual mischief getting into naughty foods hiding behind the couch- jelly crystals, icing sugar and on this occasion- MILO! Look at that face! he was covered all over her top skirt and tights as well - requiring a full change right before we were all finally ready to get out the door to school! Typical!

Zoe was off school sick for a couple of days last week so she lucked out when Jo and Callum came for lunch on Thursday as usual and suggested going to see Fir! Zoe was stoked to see her mate again and Hollie and Callum loved the helicopter that Lyn was fixing up for his grandson- pretty cool huh?!

Anyways had better get some work done round here while i have a chance and it stays tidy for more than 5 minutes! will have lots to share this week so leave me some comments and don't forget to become a follower of my blog!

Have a great Monday!

When we were kids my sister used to nick sugar and then hide the teaspoons in the toybox - don't know why she thought Mum would never know about it lol!
