Brrrrr- its been absolutely freezing today - the first of May has finally brought the antarctic chill in the air- so much so that my fingers have been frozen all day - i thought about lighting the fire and put the electric blankets on the girls beds for tonight! Ella had netball after school for the first time and i really wanted to stay and watch her but even though the girls and i were all rugged up in jackets it was just soooo cold that i had to go home and get the little ones inside! Just when you start to get used to those beautiful sunny and warm days - winter arrives with a vengeance!
Anyhoo- just wanted to share another layout that i did a few weeks ago at a crop night- i never get round to showing very quickly- sorry- i am trying to blog more often and show more of what i have been doing! I have a long list of blogs that i follow and its always exciting when they post something everyday or other day so i am trying for that! Speaking of which i have discovered how to add the followers button onto my blog now- its right there on the side - so if you haven't become a follower yet- please join me- if i get to the magic number in my head then you could win a RAK from me!
Anyways - the layout that i wanted to show you was based on a Creative Scrappers older sketch that i have had printed out and filed for awhile- i'm pleased with how it came out and that i was able to use up some older paper once again and a rubon that came out of the ark! This is my eldest daughter Zoe on Xmas Day 2011 with her favourite present that she got from Santa- a bag that you had to colour in yourself and add sequins etc- it came out pretty cool when she had finished !
On Monday i actually spent the morning in my scrap room - the first time in months and completed a page - i did the latest Creative Scrappers sketch ready to enter the competition- on the first day even! Its still sitting on my desk - i like to leave it for a few days to make sure it looks right- so will try and take a photo tomorrow and share with you all soon... depends how i get on with Fletchers and EQC coming tomorrow.....
