Just wanted to quickly share another layout that i completed at the Scrappin Patch retreat over the past weekend. This one features the very cute Hollie with her new baby that she got from Santa on Xmas Day 2011. She just loves babies and carries them around everywhere and has about 5 tucked up in bed with her each night. Everytime we go into a shop she picks up all the toy babies and puts them in the trolley! Poor Hollie- none of the other girls were into babies at all and Hollie is the last child and is the only one not to have a baby sister! This layout features some older Kaisercraft Papers that i still love - so you may see a few layouts with these papers in the near future!
On Wednesday night I had a great time at my friends house cropping in her new sleepout that has been converted to an awesome scrapping space- enough room for 4 people to scrap in comfortably- lucky girl!! Just three of us last night but we had a great time and plan to congregate at her place every 2 weeks to crop and scrap! I managed to get a layout done that i have been carrying around with me for months but never felt inspired to do - i have had the papers for years - it was the photos that i had chosen for the papers that was the problem - changed the photos and volia the mojo flowed and i am really happy with my finished layout! Will share that one later in the week!
Simon is mumbling about me being a social butterfly this week as i will have been out 3 nights in a row this week - cropping last night- a Prenzels party tonight and my usual crop night at Happy Scrappers tomorrow night! Looking forward to getting started on my mums 60th tray! She arrives back from holiday in Aussie on Sunday so it will be great to see her as it has been months since we have caught up! So we will get a quick catch up before she heads back home to Nelson! The big day is in April so i plan to fly up for the weekend for her big party which will be nice and its always nice to go home- my home town- although CHCH is my real home now!
Anyhoo- have a good one and back soon with some more shares from the weekend!
Thanks for the comments- i appreciate them!
