I can't believe that a week has almost gone by since my last post- time' just flying by! School holidays have started this week so i have all my kidlets home with me for the next 2 weeks and then we are off to Queenstown for a family holiday- really looking forward to that! The girls are very excited about the big trip- Zoe has already started packing and labeling things for Queenstown- Ella anxiously asked me if she had to jump off a bridge as she didn't really want to do that- i explained that we wouldn't make her do that but it might be fun to watch some other people jumping- she was very relieved !!
Tomorrow Simon is taking a few hours off so that he can take the girls to the fanzone and the Telecom Stand in Black roadshow at Hagley Park- so the camera might get a work out tomorrow! It sounds like great fun. Simon is in the draw for free tickets to the Wales - France match on Saturday night-somay head up to Auckland for the match- what an experience that would be! He has to be back first thing on Sunday though as its my birthday and we are off out ot breakfast with my birthday twin and friend Sarah- i wasn't allowed to go out for tea as the Allblacks were playing Australia on Sunday night and there was no way Simon was missing that whether its my birthday or not!
in other good news- the hotel that we booked our accomodation with in Melbourne has agreed to refund our money in full as long as they have confirmation from Jetstar that we did cancel our flights and are not planning to stay in other accomodation- so that is fantastic news and means that we haven't lost a great deal of money as we thought and can now use that money to have a great time in Queenstown with our girls!
IN other happy news - i attended a special Nic Howard class day at Liz Gregory;s wonderfully pink scrapbooking store in Timaru on Saturday with my scrappin buddy. What a fantastic day- great people- great little shop - stocked to the brim with wonderful scrapping goodness and oodles of Kaisercraft one of my favourite brands! Liz had permission from the awesomely talented Nic Howard to teach her Prima Licious double page class using the new Printery range and also another 2 boy layouts that Nic had created. I also was able to purchase her Dimensional Details class to take away with me using beautiful Websters products! So i was one happy lady! As well as the 4 wonderful layouts that Nic Howard created i also got another 2 layouts done that i will share this week!
