My gosh it is so hard to believe that it has been 2 whole years since Hollie was born. My baby is no longer a baby! She has had a great but very tiring day today. Lots of visits from Nana and Auntie and Grandad came for tea and the birthday cake- phone calls and parcels in the mail!! Tomorrow she has her party at preschool so i am going to be busy as a bee tonight icing a bee cake. She absolutely loves bees so most of her birthday presents have been focussed on that! She got a new pushchair - a unicorn that neighs when you ride it- and some more bee accessories a bee necklace and some new wings and headband and wand! She wears her bee outfit everyday and loves to dance around to the Fairies- especially Barnaby the Busy Buzzy Bee! This year she also got a ladybird costume so that may change!
This is a layout that i did at a crop night a few months ago using some gorgeous Echo Park papers- i have used this line of papers for about 5 layouts so far - a lovely mix of pinks and greys and blacks. This is Hollie a few months ago now watching dad out of the window.
I haven't been doing much scrapping lately but do have some exciting news to share. Trina McClune has generously agreed to come and teach a class at our Canterbury Earthquake crop day. It will be a Prima based class and i have seen the sneak peeks and it looks fabulous. Make sure you get in quick to book with Adrienne at Scrappin Patch- you won't want to miss this opprtunity to be up close and personal with Trina and to learn from a master scrapbooker!
Back soon with more to share...
