Boy has it been hot here in CHCH the last few days! Today it got to 33 degrees and yesterday to 31 degrees. Simon took the girls camping over the weekend and they had a great time cooling off at the beach and having lots of fun with dad. Because they only camp at Spencer Park on the outskirts of CHCH- Hollie and Granny and i pop out each day to see them and bring supplies and then return home at night. Boy is it hot!!
We have had Granny staying this past week which has been great for me and the girls- we have done lots of things and having the extra pair of hands makes a big difference! Granny stayedwith Hollie one afternoon so that i could take the big girls to the movies- Lucy's first time- we went to see Tangled- that is loosely based on Rapunzel! It was fantastic and we all loved it- even me- the horse was the best though! If you want a fun movie for girls these holidays then this one is it!!
On a scrappy note i have finally taken some photos of layouts that i have done recently. Not too many of them with it being school holidays- but i have managed to get to a few crop nights and do have some new things to show.
This layout was my first one after about 6 weeks break- and i was really happy with it- my usual star of course is Lucy- i love the picket fence punch that my friend kindly lent me on one of our scrappy days!
i have so much to do before the end of the month - i am going to start on a project that will be a class at Scrappin Patch in February/ March- and i have some Valentines inspiration to do and of course the January Prima page! Looks like i will have to get a couple of those done at the crop night this Friday at Scarppin Patch. Come along it is heaps of fun and a good laugh!
I'll be back with some more layouts hopefully tomorrow!
Off to sit next to a fan woth a nice cool drink....
