Hi- i am back - 2 weeks of school holidays are over !

The girls were very good and this past week we have all been up in Nelson visiting Granny- the weather was lovely and we spent alot of time at the beach- yes even in winter!

we went over to Marahau but the girls favourite thing that they did was going into Ngarua Caves at the top of Takaka hill. Even Simon was impressed as he hadn't been through before. All three big girls absolutely loved it- they got to hold a moa bone and we were the only ones on the tour- so they turned all the lights out and it was of course pitch black and they thought that was pretty neat!

It was nice to catch up with Granny - she got to spend lots of time with Hollie while we did lots of stuff with the big three. Hollie loved natureland though - like a farm park - she loved being up close and personal with all the animals and just being able to run around !!

I got back in time to work at SENZ over the weekend and it was great fun although very busy and frantic at times in the shop!! As payment for working i got to do a couple of classes which was great- so i got to meet Mel and Al from Kaisercraft and do the Advent calendar class and a layout class with them. I got to meet the lovely Trina Mc Clune - one of my favourite designers and now designing for Prima! I also got to catch up with lots of people that i hadnt seen for a couple of years from my old scrapbooking shop which was nice.

Then on the Friday night Scrappin Patch had their crop night and i finally succeeded in getting my mate Sez to come along and scrap and she loved it and hopefully is now hooked and will come along to all the crops too! I got to meet lots of the lovely ladies that comment on the forum and thanks to Dallas who showed me how to make some flowers!

So i have had a busy few weeks and am looking forward to slowing down and getting back into routine a little.

I have to just mention too at how impressed i have been by all the entries for the Stars in their Eyes Competition- the first weeks layouts were amazing and i am sure that Steph Devlin was truly impressed- congrats to the winners and well done to all that entered! This week is Ingvild Bolme and i cant wait for you all to see the fabulous layouts on Tuesday!

Might just see if i can get round to downloading some photos from last week
