Just a quick note today as I should be getting dinner ready for our big Mid- Winter Christmas Party. Christmas is a big deal in our house - especially for dad as he is a Santa (only Zoe realises this so far!!) We have 8 adults and 6 children coming over for a traditional Christmas roast dinner with all the fanfare. Simon has put up all the Christmas lights outside- you can probably see our house from the moon- there are so many lights!! The tree is up and looks lovely shining all lit up in the window. The girls are excited about Santa coming and getting a present from him even though its not really Christmas. Its nice to have a proper winter Christmas as here in New Zealnd its summer at Xmas time and we dont feel like eating all that hot food- usually we eat pretty light and go for swims in our pool and have a bbq at night!! More photos to follow soon....

This layout was one that i completed at a recent Scrappin Patch Crop day- its great to have a whole day to sit and scrap and chat!! There is another one coming up at the end of July so if you are keen book now!! This was based on a sketch and was great for me as i tried sewing on a layout for the first time- its not as hard as i thought!! So will be sewing more! Used a fabulous ribbon punch for the first time too - crop days are great as you get to borrow other peoples tools and their expertise and hopefully to share mine too!!
